Ennio Morricone

A few statements about Ennio + this completely random post

He is an international treasure and the night he won his long overdue Academy Award, I wept.

The composer of some of cinema’s most recognized scores, he created characters all their own with  the elements of sound. What an ear. He’s an icon.

Is it extra that I wanted to learn Italian just to be able to comprehend his interviews? He makes me want to pick up the violin again. (…and I just might)
