बघीरा
(Bagheera)

I need it.

.

All of it.

.

More of this.

.

As an limited episodic series or a full-length feature.

.

I don’t know and I don’t care, I just need it. With Preeti Choudhury as Bagheera.

Her confidence is this role was outstanding!

.

More. Now.

.

Bagheera, the Black Panther.

.

.

This was powerful. And the suspense was right on the money.

.

It leaped right over the damsel-in-distress trope, and I was so happy with the conclusion.

.

Whew, good writing too. I noted the way Rajesh Balwani, who plays Bagheera’s captor, referred to himself as “uncle,” a common term used in South Asian social cultures to refer to a close male family-friend of no relation. This rather minuscule nod to the culture supplemented the short film’s specificity and identity.

Great directing too. Nice on the cinematography. The score and editing complemented the tension at the table.

बघीरा (Bagheera) was great.
