Pineapple Express

Hard not to love–definitely one of my favorite Apatow productions.

Slow claps to the casting director.  I can’t recall a time I thoroughly enjoyed a mix of actors that meshed so well together outside of almost every Wes Anderson film.  They should award Academy Awards for casting—”Best Ensemble.”

I remember seeing this in the theater five times and enjoying it every time–finding a hidden joke I didn’t notice the first few times.

Definitely a cult classic and a great movie to celebrate the April 20th holiday.

“I seen’t it!”–my nominee for best line in the film.  Craig Robinson man…hats off to him, probably was an adlib.

This was the film when I realized how much I really appreciate Franco’s chameleon-level acting.  Fun fact: he was my childhood crush.
