There seemed to be no conflict.

“Things Break In” is giving a 2008 “ModCloth” ad with homoerotic vibes, which is conceptually dope.

I effs with the aesthetic and aim of the screenplay, but this was a miss. 😕😕

The acting was fine, but the film rested in an editing abyss for depth and character.

All I got from this short was a sweet countryside where two young women, wearing messy overalls with bandana-accompanied updos, exchanged glances and a kiss in a barn.

It reminded me of the (iconic) Katy Perry “Thinking of You” music video, but with a secret romance between an interracial lesbian couple..

Ehh…the minimalism left me begging for more.
